Trevor Higby is a husband, father, grandfather, military veteran, and the owner of Insulation Commandos of Boise. Raised in Utah and Idaho, Trevor developed an early passion for processes, systems, and operations—an interest that would shape his professional career.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Trevor was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, where he gained valuable leadership and operational experience while serving in multiple command roles. Over the course of his career, Trevor has accumulated more than 30 years of experience leading large teams across healthcare, operations, and business development, bringing a unique blend of hands-on operational expertise and strategic leadership.
Following his military service, Trevor earned a Master of Business Administration while launching and operating a hospice company in Portland, Oregon. The business was successfully acquired several years later, introducing Trevor to the world of healthcare acquisitions and growth strategy.
He later joined a national healthcare organization where he held multiple leadership positions within a growing hospice division. In those roles, Trevor led numerous acquisitions, oversaw a large portfolio of operating companies, and helped develop leadership pipelines to support rapid organizational growth.
When the hospice organization later spun off as a separate public company, Trevor pursued a new challenge by serving as Chief Operating Officer for a medical equipment company, where he expanded his operational expertise into supply chain, warehouse management, and logistics operations.
After more than three decades in corporate leadership roles, Trevor and his family felt called to return to entrepreneurship and build a family-owned business rooted in service and community.
